Less than a pair of shoes…less than a weekly shop…less than any other video camera on the market Disgo Video lets the whole family shoot and share videos
Last week saw the release of the Disgo Video, a pocket-sized digital video camcorder from Clever Stuff, for quick and simple shooting and sharing of videos on the go.
Weighing no more than a mobile phone, Disgo Video marks a new era in video making. With just three buttons for one-touch recording, instant playback on the LCD screen and deleting, it is the easiest video camcorder in the world.
Powered by two AA batteries, Disgo Video boasts a large 2 inch colour screen and built-in speaker. It includes a removable 1GB SD memory card, allowing for more than 60 minutes of continuous video recording.
Disgo Video connects seamlessly to a TV, via a TV cable included with the product, allowing anyone to enjoy their movies in the comfort of their living room.
Disgo Video does not require any software installation or video editing knowledge. Video clips are automatically saved into a standard video format (AVI). These can then be easily transferred to a PC, using a USB cable (provided) and uploaded onto video sharing sites such as YouTube or personal web pages. They can also be burned onto a CD or DVD disc.
“Today, everyone is shooting videos, not only computer-aware teenagers and gadget fans, but also their parents and grandparents. This is why, we wanted to give consumers an easy to use and reliable video camera that doesn’t cost the earth,” said Luke Noonan, Business Development Director, Clever Stuff.
Disgo Video also:
Automatically adjusts exposure and colour balance
Shoots in VGA quality (640 x 480 pixels)
Includes USB and TV cables
External memory can be upgraded to a 2GB SD or MMC card giving users even more shooting time
Video editing software is included with the product
The Disgo Video camera at under £40 will be available nationwide this weekend. It will be sold exclusively from Currys.digital shops on the high street, Currys superstores, PC World and online from
