On a promise for Valentine's Day? Try Discounttheatre.com Meal & Show Deals
News posted: 29 January 2008
Just because you’ve failed – yet again – to organise a suitable treat for the lady friend, you don’t have to be out in the cold on Valentine’s night.

Discounttheatre.com has come up with the last minute answer in the form of loads of tickets for hard-to-see shows, coupled with dinner in a nearby restaurant, and all bookable over the web!

Said Discounttheatre.com Communications Director Chris Ryan: “We know from previous experience that there is a huge number of blokes out there who just fail to organise anything until a few days before. So we’ve released a lot of extra tickets for the best shows in the West End on Valentine’s Day, and organised dinner – all the guy has to do is pick and click.”

But which is the best show to get a guaranteed result later that night? There is heavy betting a night at Grease is a near a cert as you can get. Complete with dinner at a choice of three restaurants for just £65 you’ll definitely be ‘the one that she wants’.

Or what about Joseph? It might not be top of many blokes’ lists, but the ladies love Lee Mead, and at a relatively short 2hrs long you’ll have plenty of time to work your magic after the show. What is top of most male lists is of course Chicago, a very sexy evening for both guys and girls. With dinner at only £52.5 you can’t go wrong.

Other favourites include Les Miserables, Spamalot , Wicked, Fiddler on the Roof and Billy Elliot.

Whatever you see, just don’t tell her you’ve managed to get last minute seats and dinner for pretty much the same price as you would normally pay for the seat only. Which of course means you’ll have plenty left over for a cab home – only as far as her place, of course.

Details of all the shows, dinner and hotel packages, with live bookings and instant confirmations, can be found on the web site: www.discounttheatre.com.
